"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I'm currently attempting to design a logo for myself, and having so much trouble with it! I can't decide what I want for myself and keep changing my mind every few minutes. It's fine if I'm making one for someone else but when its for me I'm hopeless. Anyway keep up the great work, I'll definatley be adding you to people to watch.
